Hi Everyone!
I know that I have not posted the last two days.
Mama has had me doing some things to prepare me for pre-school. She said the lessons are very important. During this period of a few days, she doesn’t want me on the Internet or playing games.
Mama said that I can post over this weekend to “catch up” with all my Internet friends.
So, please don’t forget me, OK? I promise to have some good posts over the weekend.
See you then. Thanks for your visit! Please Click To Comment

Hi Everyone!
I have been watching television during the past days (while it was raining outside) and on many channels they are showing programs about vanishing wildlife. It seems that with the growth of people population and their need for more room to build towns and cities and the changing climate around the world, many types of wildlife are quickly disappearing.
I asked Mama if we could do some looking on the Internet and find out what this is all about. Mama and I will be doing the research today and start reporting to you tomorrow. We will write some articles about what is happening and how we can slow it down or , maybe, even stop it.
I look forward to reporting on this interesting subject Monday. Please come back and visit me often.
See you tomorrow!

Hi Everyone!
Sorry for not posting the last four days but we continue to have the problem with the Internet service. We, now, have “limited” access but not like the service that Mama and Dada pays for. We hope that the company will solve the problem soon.
You might have noticed that we have made a few new additions to DJ’s World. We have added a neat survey section where you can vote on different questions. Today we have a survey that asks the question: “Who is your favorite Monster, Inc. character.” We will let the survey go for 7-10 days and then announce the final results in a posting. We will then set up a new survey. This will be a permanent part of DJ’s World. If you have ideas for a survey, please post it in your comments to the daily posting.
The next addition is a Question & Answer section of DJ’s World. You will see on the lower right side of DJ’s World there is a new section called “DJ’s Corner.” Please use the Comments section of the daily post to contact me with any questions or suggestions about DJ’s World. If you have a URL Link please include it in the Comments Section provided. The other way to contact me is by sending an e-mail to the following address:
talkwithdj@theworldofdj.com
I really look forward to hearing from you. I know that many kids are nervous about posting comments but your Mama and Dada will help you and it will be a fun experience. I do want to make many friends not only in the Philippines but around the world. The only way the DJ’s World can grow and be a fun place is by your help.
Dada is working on the design of DJ’s Store and it should be “up and running” in a few months. We will have many nice things for sale and part of the proceeds will go to my favorite charity UNICEF. DJ’s School is a project that Mama is working on. Mama is gathering material for the school and it, also, should be ready in a few months.
It is, now, rainy season and I am spending more time inside the house but I do play outside when the weather is good. Mama has been using an educational computer program called Microsoft Learning Essentials for Students to teach my big brother and sisters new things during the school summer vacation. I have learned a lot from watching their lessons.
I hope to receive many comments from you all real soon. Remember, we want to make DJ’s World a fun and safe place for kids to visit. Please make DJ’s World a daily visit.
See you soon!

Hi Everyone!
At the last posting, I talked about our problems with the Internet service.
I was very lucky to be able to do that posting because the Internet service went down right after the post. We have not had any service since that time. It has been a week since we had normal Internet service. Mama got a dial-up Internet card today but the speed is so slow that it makes it very hard to do anything on the Internet.
Dada told me that in business, the only way that there is growth is when there is competition. The problem with telecommunications and especially Internet service in the Philippines is the real lack of competition. Dada said that PLDT is the prime provider of these services and they have an almost total monopoly in the business. He said that this company has always been the controlling company in telecommunications in the Philippines. Dada said that when companies get this much control in a business they tend to not care as much about the services they are providing to their customers. That is a very sad thought.
Mama said not to worry too much as she will find a way to get access to real Internet service. I hope so as I very much miss my time on the Internet. I really like learning things on the Internet and being able to talk with all of you.
I really feel bad when I can’t post to all of you each day but I know that Mama and Dada will find a way to fix the problem. That is what parents do!
See you soon.

Hi Everyone!
It has been a long time since I was on the Internet.
Last Thursday, I was not able to connect to my website. Dada did some checking and, finally, he was able to contact the technical people at our hosting company in the USA. After a few hours, they told Dada that they had a problem with our database server. They didn’t get it fixed until later that night. The next morning, Dada, again, could not access the Internet. This time, Dada said, it was our local Internet provider. This problem lasted all day long.
Late in the evening, a big typhoon started to come in our area. We lost the electric during the night and did not get it back until Saturday night. It was a very bad storm with very fast winds and lots of rain. Mama used candles for us to see during the night. Saturday night, although we got the electric back we did not get the Internet service back.
It is, now, late Monday afternoon and we just got the Internet back. It has really been a hard time. I hope that things are back to normal.
I will see you tomorrow!
