Hi Everyone!

Today is a special day.

Today is the birthday of my “yaya” (nanny). Rita has been with me since the day I was born. She has been just like an ” Ate” (big sister) who has taken care of me day after day. She has help me learn things like my “ABCs” and counting my numbers. She has help me take my naps in the afternoon and she has taken me for walks outside. When Mama is working, Ate Rita plays games with me and helps me draw pictures.

I must admit that I have had to teach Ate Rita how to play video games but that is because I learned how to do those things from my big brother.

Ate Rita is really a good and kind person and she is very much a member of our family. She can never take the place of Mama but she is really like my oldest sister.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ATE RITA! I love you.

Hi Everyone!

Today was a happy day. It was my oldest sister Karlene’s birthday. Karlene is, now, 12 years old.

It was a busy day with Mama preparing all of Karlene’s favorite foods. All our local family members were here all day. It was nice because I had many people to play with. Later in the afternoon, Karlene had a big cake and blew out the candles while everyone sang “Happy BIrthday To You.” Karlene like her presents and was really happy.

It is so nice to have family celebrations where everyone is so happy!

Hi Everyone!

I had a great birthday yesterday. Many people came and visited me and brought gifts. I would like to say a big “THANK YOU!” to everyone for making it a wonderful day. Of course, being together with my family was the best part of the day. I was so tired after the day that I went to bed early but not before playing a few Play Station 2 games with my big brother.

Wednesday, I will write a little about my brother and sisters. Until then please take care of yourselves and remember to always listen to your Mama and Dada even when it is something you don’t want to do. They do know better but lets keep that our secret….
