Hi Everyone!
I can’t believe that it has been raining everyday for the last 8 days!
Today, was the first day that the sun was shining and things started to dry out. This has been a very wet rainy season. My Dada has been sick the last 6 days with a very bad cold and “pink eye” in both his eyes. This condition has made his eyes very sore and there is a fluid that makes his eyes “glued” shut. He told me that his eyes hurts a lot and they are very itchy. He said I have to stay away from him because I can catch the condition. That is one of the main reasons we have not been posting the last few days. The other problem has been the electric service has been “up and down.”
In a couple of days, I will be making my 100th posting and on that day there will be a big surprise for all of you. I have agreed with Mama and Dada to do something new and you will find out then. So be sure to watch for this special posting in a couple of days. It will be a big surprise.
OK, enough for now. I hope that you are having a good week. I know that many of my friends in America have been in very bad weather with so much rain and wind. I have watched the flooding around the USA and it makes me sad to see people lose their homes. I will pray for all of you that things will get better real soon.

Hi Everyone!
Today is a special day.
Today is the birthday of my “yaya” (nanny). Rita has been with me since the day I was born. She has been just like an ” Ate” (big sister) who has taken care of me day after day. She has help me learn things like my “ABCs” and counting my numbers. She has help me take my naps in the afternoon and she has taken me for walks outside. When Mama is working, Ate Rita plays games with me and helps me draw pictures.
I must admit that I have had to teach Ate Rita how to play video games but that is because I learned how to do those things from my big brother.
Ate Rita is really a good and kind person and she is very much a member of our family. She can never take the place of Mama but she is really like my oldest sister.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ATE RITA! I love you.

Hi Everyone!
I hope that you had a great weekend. We had non-stop rain and wind due to a typhoon that was traveling along the northern part of the Philippines. The sky remained grey and dark, both, Saturday and Sunday.
During the last 3 days, the Hallmark Channel on television has been showing Christmas movies. It was a little strange but, in a way, it was really nice to have the “feel” of Christmas in July. I really like the movies about Santa Claus and Santa Claus Jr.
All this got me thinking; so I counted up the days. There are only 149 days left to Christmas! I guess I better start working on my Wish List and this year Mama is going to help me write a letter to Santa Claus.
Dada said that radio stations (here in the Philippines) have, already, starting playing Christmas songs. He told me that there is a story in the Philippines that the worst the economic situation is the earlier Christmas songs are played on the radio. Dada said this is done to get people’s mind off of the bad times. Well, times are bad in the Philippines just like the rest of the world so I guess the story makes sense.
I think that it is a great idea to think about Christmas all year long. It keeps the most important part of Christmas in our mind and that is the birth of Jesus. It allows us to think about the gift that God gave to each and everyone of us.
I think that it is just fine to greet people with a “Merry Christmas” greeting each and everyday. Maybe it will keep the spirit of Christmas alive during the whole year.
Thanks for your visit!

Hi Everyone!
Today, I made a new friend.
A few days ago, Mama and I were on my computer and she took us to a website that her friend had recommended. The site is called Being Five and it explores the life of a five year old boy by the name of “Georgie.” Georgie is very talented with a computer and uses voice recognition software (like I do) to post to his site. He does it through a comic strip format.
Mama and I spent a lot of time looking at the comics. We went back through the older months and really had a good time laughing. My favorite comic was the one named Christmas Spirit which was posted on December 19th 2007. Please take a look for a really good laugh.
I must believe that Being Five is a big hit with people in the United States. Many of my visitors are from Asia and other countries other than the USA. I really suggest that you visit Being Five each and every day. The address is: http://www.beingfive.com
Georgie is a really neat kid and I would really like to visit him someday. Maybe he could visit me in the Philippines. I know that we would do some really fun things together!
I have an idea for you all. When you visit the Being Five website, you can sign up for the daily comic to be delivered, directly, to you e-mail address box. It is a great way to start the day.
When you are done visiting with me each day, why not go to “Friends Of DJ’s World Around The Globe” and click on “Being Five” and that will take you, directly, to Georgie. You know that you can’t get enough of really fun kids these days!
When you are there, tell Georgie I said “hello.”
See You Soon.
