Hi! I am DJ. My full name is David-John. I live with my Mama, Dada, big brother, and three older sisters. We live in the Philippines. I can speak English and Tagalog.

My best friend is Angelo. He lives very near my house. We play together almost  everyday.

I learned to play on my Sony PlayStation2 when I was two years old. I learned to use a computer when I was three years old. I can play games on my computer and I know how to use Microsoft Office to do my school assignments. I know how to use the voice recognition software that my Dada put on my computer. You talk into a microphone to write words on the computer. I, also, know my numbers and can count to one million (it takes a really long time)! I know how to add and subtract so when I play store and use my play money it comes out correctly.

I attended and graduated (with High Honors) Kindergarten this past school year (June 2009 – March 2010). It was a lot of fun and I learned many new things. I liked my teacher and had many nice classmates. I am attending 1st Grade this school year.

Mama helps me with my website. She  makes sure that I am getting the words right and Dada is teaching me many new things to do on the computer. Mama is very smart. She graduated from the university and is, now, working on her graduate degree. She, also, spends a lot of time helping my brother and sisters with their school work. She makes sure that they do all their homework every night. She, also, makes sure that we say our prayers every night. Sometimes when I can’t sleep at night, Mama will sing to me. That always helps me to fall asleep. Mama makes our home a wonderful place to live. I love you Mama!

My Friend Darwin

My friend Darwin M. Alcazar is the creator of my cartoon life. He  was born in Olongapo City, Philippines but spent most of his younger life in San Diego, California USA. He studied Computer Desktop Publishing and Media Arts at AMA Computer Learning Center in the Philippines but he really learned everything he needed by taking his natural art ability and increasing  it by self-study and practice.

Darwin is, also, a gifted musician and plays guitar for a band called “IMBUE NO KUDOS” or “INK” and they  have just released their debut album called “But What If We Will” which is, now,  available in music stores and music departments in major department stores all over the Philippines. Darwin says “I am an artist at heart and I live my music.” Darwin is a great friend and we have really good times together!

Helping Hungry Children

Mama and Dada told me about all the millions of children around the world who go to bed hungry every night. That made me very sad.I know that I can not help all the hungry children but I told Mama and Dada I would like to help children, here, in the Philippines. They told me that we can do that by supporting UNICEF. They said that it is the United Nations organization that helps children.
